won winner bitch at all four of the UKC shows this
weekend and even went BEST of Breed over Specials 2 of

FINNY IS A NEW United Kennel Club (UKC) CHAMPION and
adds another title to his name!! He had a great
weekend going Best of Breed, Group 1 and Reserve Best in
Show! Good Job

9.13.09 Finny completed his
SHR (Started Hunting Retriever) title with HRC/UKC this
weekend at the Land of Lakes Hunt Test. The season
is winding down and we are now training Finny for his SH
(Senior Hunter) title with AKC and HR Hunting Retriever
and will be ready to compete NEXT year. It has
been a GREAT year for us. Thank you Greg Larson
and Kathy Simane

Retrievers) for all of your guidance and faith
in Finny and us too!
Finny won his first
Best in Specialty Sweepstakes at the Des Moines Golden
Retriever Club Specialty on September 4th, 2009 under
judge Karen Arbuthnot. He also took a 5 point
Major Reserve from the Bred By class under Judge Nancy
Jean Gallant! What a GREAT DAY!!!
We were in Kansasville, WI this
weekend (August 22nd and 23rd) where
Finny picked up two out of
four passes he needs for his UKC/HRC Started Hunting
Title. YAY FINNY! We will be trying to
finish him up September 12th & 13th at the
Land of Lakes HRC
Hunt test.

was Reserve Winners Dog both days in LaCrosse, WI this
weekend, not bad for our first weekend out being a 'show
dog'. He was entered in a Sanctioned AKC
Match on 8/1/09 and he went BEST IN MATCH over several
other dogs that placed in the other groups. It was
a fun weekend!!

weekend. He earned 3 legs towards his AKC JH (Junior

Retriever Club Sunday, July 26th. WILL HE DO IT???
